I build product workflows, run customer engagement, and open new business through partnerships.
Generalist and product person at heart. Climate tech (ESG SaaS) is where that became everything.
Across the Indian ESG SaaS ecosystem, I've held leadership seats building IFRS-grade reporting products, running high-stakes customer success engagements, and driving GTM across JPAC and EMEA regions from the founder's office, now with an AI-native workflow underneath all of it.

About
I built my career at the intersection of consulting and data analytics. I started at McKinsey, then moved into talent-intelligence analytics at Draup, but both roles revolved around the same core challenge: taking messy, fragmented enterprise data and shaping it into clear, actionable insights that leaders are willing to act on.
Now, as a product manager working in the founder's office, I apply that same craft in a different context. I translate complex data and stakeholder needs into workflows, product strategies, roadmaps, and decisions that teams can execute on and that drive real business impact. In essence, my work has always been about turning ambiguous processes into clearer translational product workflows.
Then climate tech became the thing I gave everything to. Across StepChange, Oren and Credibl ESG, I have been the go-to SME and product manager for regulated ESG software: I run discovery with the customers who use the product, translate IFRS S1/S2, ASRS and TCFD requirements into clear specs, shape and prioritise the roadmap with founders, and work day to day with engineering and data science to ship. This involves playing around with climate methodologies and models and datasets and ensuring they are the best fit for our business needs.
I have owned product sprints for climate-risk assessments module, value-chain mapping to climate risks and opportunities and various disclosure modules. I built the customer data dashboards on top with SQL and Power BI, and prototyped quickly in Figma, Replit and Cursor. What I care about is whether the workflow and the data model and the business logic underneath actually make an analyst's or the ideal customer's day to day work easier.
What I keep coming back to is IFRS-grade reporting, and the unglamorous work underneath it: GHG accounting, climate-risk assessment, supply chain assessments and disclosure drafting. I automate that layer so people spend time deciding, not wrangling files.
ESG SaaS sits inside climate tech, but the job is still AI-first software sold to companies. You ship product, keep enterprise customers successful, and open new markets. That motion is not unique to climate. It is the same one any modern software company runs.
Those workstreams all run on the same AI-native setup: Skills, Agents, Hooks and Tasks, mapped in an Obsidian vault so I am not re-explaining the same context to stakeholders every week.
Selected work
Three problems I keep getting hired to solve: build the product workflows, run the customer engagement, and open new avenues of business through partnerships.
Client identities are masked. The work and the value are not. Each engagement is framed by the value it carried and how fast it was delivered.
01 / Role
Product Management
Building the ESG product: reporting, accounting, disclosures, suppliers
I've built ESG software across three climate-tech companies: StepChange, Oren and Credibl. That covers IFRS S1/S2 reporting, GHG accounting, ESG disclosure writing (CRA and GRI), and supplier engagement. I owned the workflow for each, and automated the calculation and drafting underneath.

02 / Role
Customer Success and Consulting
Running the customer, the stickiest sustainability problems, end to end
Customer success is the delivery seat: multi-country ledgers, transport, Scope 3 and supplier programmes on audit dates. Consulting is the earlier craft: net-zero and disclosure advisory at StepChange, then data and research at Draup and McKinsey. Clients are described by archetype. Specifics stay confidential.

03 / Role
Founder's Office
GTM, pre-sales and partnerships, from the founder's seat
After an internal promotion into the Founder's Office, I ran the commercial engine: the GTM motion, pre-sales and solutioning, and sales and partnerships enablement across partners and customers globally.

An AI-native operating system
Every workstream above runs on the same setup. I've wired day-to-day work into Skills, Agents, Hooks and Tasks, with an Obsidian vault as the memory layer, so I am not re-explaining the same job each week.
Skills
Reusable playbooks for GHG accounting, CRA writing, RFP response and materiality, each a self-contained how-to the agent loads on demand.
Agents
Specialists per workstream (climate-risk writer, emissions QA, proposal builder) that execute a skill end to end.
Hooks
Guardrails that fire automatically to classify the task, keep the token budget tight, and block confidential data from leaking.
Tasks
One routed job per client workstream, so the right skill, agent and scripts load and nothing else.
Obsidian as the memory layer. An Obsidian knowledge vault maps it all together: raw sources stay immutable, an LLM-maintained wiki summarises and links entities and concepts, and a schema keeps routing consistent. Answers get filed back, so the system gets sharper every week.
Three worked examples
Same loop every time. These three are sample tasks: one from delivery, one from the founder's office, one from disclosure writing. Pick a pill to watch it run.
Sample tasks
Scope 3 purchased-goods mapping
A listed manufacturer needed Category 1 purchased goods mapped to emission factors, without restarting from a blank spreadsheet every reporting cycle.
- TaskOne routed job: map spend lines to factors, flag gaps, and write the method note.
- HookClassified as emissions work and blocked dumping the full ledger into the prompt.
- SkillLoaded the Exiobase + HSN factor-mapping playbook: how to choose a factor, not a one-off guess.
- AgentMapped lines, raised unmatched SKUs, and drafted the methodology.
- ObsidianFiled factor choices and exceptions back to the wiki so the next cycle starts sharper.
What went right: the inventory did not wait on tribal knowledge. The same skill now runs for the next reporting year, with last year's exceptions already in the vault.

Beyond work
The short version of who I am when I'm not shipping ESG software or doing work in the climate-tech space.
I travel to think. I've ridden close to 90,000 km on a motorcycle across India, long solo stretches that are equal parts reset and research into how the country actually lives.
I make things for people, live. I write, I sing and play the guitar, and when there's time I do stand-up comedy and improv. Getting on a stage keeps me honest about reading a room, which turns out to be half of product and all of sales.
I'm low-key obsessed with hip-hop and movies, and I constantly rant about them in my journal: half review, half op-ed, all opinion. In a post-AI world, taste is the new superpower, so I'm putting mine on the internet before the bots copy it.
The work I care about most is community. With friends and family I help run a small, community-sized centre that provides rehab and mental-health support for the elderly and for people from underprivileged backgrounds. I've been involved in this kind of work since university, with You&I and organisations like it, and I still teach every week.
I work high-trust and low-ego. Startups sometimes hear that as 'will work for vibes and a thank-you in next quarter's all-hands.' I hear it as: I will skip the politics and share the credit, if the work is named, the gratitude is not theoretical, and the pay matches the risk I am taking by being that easy to work with. Those are the bare minimum. Give me those and I am the least complicated person in the room. Skip them and I am just a very polite employee reading the room.
Résumé
One story, told for the reader in the room. Same facts, different emphasis. Pick the seat you are hiring for, read the framing, and download the matching résumé.
Chief of staff who turns founder strategy into shipped outcomes
I have been Chief of Staff at one ESG company and in the Founder's Office at another. The job was rarely one thing: product one week, a stuck customer the next, then an RFP, a partner training or a fundraising deck. I write the playbooks the team will actually open, I train sales, CS and partners on the same motion, and I still drop into SQL or a product spike when that is what is blocking us.
- Keeps product, customer success, professional services and go-to-market moving as one cross-functional program management motion, with a weekly operating cadence, not four silos.
- Took pre-sales and RFP cycles from weeks down to days. Closed about $150K and opened roughly 2x that in upstream pipeline, part of about $300K+ product, delivery and closed commercial value.
- Trained partners on a reusable joint GTM motion, not just a deck they had to rewrite.
- Worked with founders on fundraising, market sizing and conversations with Gartner and other rating agencies, plus OKRs and roadmap choices.
- Automates the boring founder-office loops with Skills, Agents, Hooks and Tasks so formatting does not eat strategy time.
If you want a Chief of Staff who will set direction, train the room and also do the shipping nobody else picks up, that is the seat I take.
Organisations supported
Across my companies I've had 50+ enterprise sustainability touch points. A representative selection of organisations I've supported is listed below. All engagement detail remains confidential.
Let's talk
Whether you're a VC sizing up an operator, a founder hiring a chief of staff, a product leader building in climate or otherwise looking for a pure-play first principles thinking product manager, a customer-success or delivery leader who needs a safe pair of hands, or a sustainability lead who needs the inventory and the disclosure done properly, I'd love to compare notes.
